Health Center
The home for Primary Care Health Services in the
Madawaska area, the Acadia Family Health Center
offices offer Family Practice/OB, Internal Medicine,
Pediatric, and Psychiatric care. The conversion
of the Acadia Elementary School located on Main
Street in Madawaska, allowed Northern Maine Medical
Center to expand the services offered to the residents
of the greater Madawaska area.
Starting with renovations to the "school gym", the
facility became the home for Cardiac Rehab, and
now features a full fitness center with a focus
on wellness.
A large conference room, made available to vairous
support groups and health care related services,
enhances the convenience to residents seeking local
