Fort Kent – Robin Damboise, Director of Human Resources at Northern Maine Medical Center, has announced that Brenda Bolduc, ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬Unit Secretary at Forest Hill, has been named Employee of the Quarter.
An employee of NMMC since 1993, Bolduc is a member of the Forest Hill Nursing team, and she is responsible for scheduling resident appointments, computer entries of orders, scheduling physician visits, training incoming unit secretaries, setting up transportation for resident appointments, plus many more responsibilities.
Bolduc’s previous work experience includes, employment in the hospital as a Unit Secretary in the Operating Room and also on the Med Surg Unit
This marks the 2nd time that Bolduc has received NMMC’s prestigious Employee of the Quarter award.
As employee of the quarter, Bolduc successfully and consistently demonstrates a positive attitude while performing the responsibilities of her position in a manner that exceeds average standards. Her dedication and commitment to the entire NMMC organization exemplifies what NMMC employees strive for in the health care industry.
Bolduc’s hobbies include outdoor activities including, snow shoeing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. She also enjoys making jewelry, travelling, and relaxing when time permits.
Bolduc resides in Cross Lake, and she is a proud mother of her 20 year old daughter Nicole, who resides in South Portland, and will soon be graduating from Southern Maine Community College.
As an NMMC Employee of the Quarter, Bolduc has received monetary gifts from the hospital and medical staff. Additionally, in recognition of this honor, her photo has been placed on display in the corridor of the Ground Floor, where it will remain for the next 3 months. Another privilege will be the designation of a special parking spot at Forest Hill for Bolduc’s use only for the next three months.
