Northern Maine Medical Center Foundation
The Northern Maine Medical Center
Foundation is dedicated to the development of relationships
and financials resources in support of the improvement
of the delivery of health and healthcare in the
St. John Valley through the development of financial
support from our communities, foundations, and various
fundraising activities. All resources realized are
utilized for the support and improvement of the
facilities, equipment, and services of Northern
Maine Medical Center.
The Foundation, with its volunteer
board of directors who set policy and direct its
activities, accepts gifts on behalf of Northern
Maine Medical Center and works to fund both present
and future equipment and program needs. Contributions
of any amount are gratefully accepted and may be
unrestricted gifts or designated for a specific
hospital unit or program. You can donate dollars
toward a specific fund, to a specific hospital department,
in memory or honor of a loved one and make a general
donation. We also have several planned giving options
open for donors who may be interested in making
a larger more permanent gift.
Contributions to the Foundation are
tax deductible to the full extent currently allowed
by law, with 100% of all gifts benefiting the hospital
program or department designated by its donors.
There are a variety of ways that
can be used to make a gift to the Hospital Foundation
endowment fund:

- Gifts of Appreciated Property
- Gifts of Real Estate
- Gifts of Life Insurance
- Gifts that provide Income for Life to you
Planned Gifts
There are a number of advantages
of making a planned gift to NMMC:

- Large savings on estate taxes are possible
- The satisfaction of knowing that your gift
will benefit our Hospital for years

when you began to develop or update your estate
plan. We invite you to talk with our representatives
about the best way to fulfill your personal financial
needs when you include a gift to our Hospital.
