TATU Training

Area YAP students participated in a T.A.T.U. (Teens Against Tobacco Use) training on January 17. The photo shows YAP leader, Heather Harman, teaches youngsters a dance to the song, "Coughin' in Your Coffin." This interactive workshop uses a variety of techniques to teach teans to make healthy choices about tobacco use and how to be advocates for tobacco control in the community. Facilitator of the workshop is Tammy Bernier, SAD #27 Chemical Health Educator, St. John Valley Partnership YAP Coordinator.

Tubing

On Febuary 23, approximately 50 St. John Valley YAP students will enjoy tubing at the New Denmark Ski Lodge. Students from three school communities and YAP leaders will travel to the resort near Grand Falls to enjoy three hours of snow activity and fresh air.
