Wellness Centers

Northern Maine Medical Center has two wellness/fitness centers. One located in Madawaska at the Acadia Family Health Center (Acadia Fitness Center) and the other located on West Main Street in Fort Kent (NMMC Wellness Center). Both sites haev numerous fitness equipment such as treadmills, a variety of bikes, steppers, rowers, and different types of free weights and weight machines. Staff members can enjoy the use of the equipment as well as personal fitness programs that can be designed to meet individual's needs. It's easy to add physical activity and exercise in your daily routine. The trick is to get started. Exercising and eating healthy is the key to living well.
