Jennifer J. Albert serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at Northern Maine Medical Center, bringing a diverse background in both clinical care and healthcare leadership. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maine at Orono in 2011, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012.
Jennifer began her healthcare career at the age of 15 as a nurse’s aide and has since held a range of leadership roles, including Nurse Manager, Residential Care Director, Director of Quality and Infection Prevention, and Director of Medical Practices. She holds national certification in Infection Control (CIC), which she obtained in 2021.
In addition to her clinical and administrative experience, Jennifer has worked as a field biologist, with research focused on entomology and wildlife biology. She was honored with the Outstanding Nurse Alumni Award from the University of Maine at Fort Kent in recognition of her professional contributions.
Jennifer is deeply committed to advancing quality, patient safety, and emergency preparedness in healthcare.
