Christina Theriault, WHNP, is a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner committed to delivering comprehensive, inclusive, and evidence-based sexual and reproductive healthcare. Her expertise spans gender-affirming hormone therapy; perimenopause and menopause management; and full-spectrum reproductive and women's health services. She is certified by the National Certification Corporation (NCC). Christina has extensive experience in providing full reproductive and women's healthcare with a focus on accessibility, education, and individualized support.
In addition to her clinical practice, she has played a significant role in provider training-particularly in intrauterine device (IUD) insertion and removal-helping expand access to high-quality contraceptive care across diverse healthcare settings.
A dedicated educator, Christina teaches the didactic portion of Gynecological and Reproductive Healthcare for students in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program at the University of Maine at Orono, where she helps prepare the next generation of advanced practice clinicians. Her background also includes teaching childbirth education classes, reflecting her longstanding commitment to empowering patients and families through knowledge and compassionate guidance.
