Northern Maine Medical Center was proud to take part in the Age Friendly Resource Fair in Fort Kent this past week!
Our IOP Director, Sarah Wimbiscus, shared valuable information about NMMC’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and the many benefits it provides for adults ages 55 and older — helping support mental wellness and connection in our community.
Courtney Deprey, NMMC’s Director of Social Services, offered guidance on advanced directives, helping attendees understand how to make their wishes known and plan for the future.
Diane Fongemie and Charlene Taggart, members of the NMMC Guild, were also on hand to discuss opportunities to volunteer and contribute, ensuring they can continue their incredible work supporting patients and their families at NMMC.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with our community, share resources, and celebrate the spirit of caring that makes the St. John Valley such a special place.
