Originally from Allagash, Maine, Mandy has been a dedicated member of the Northern Maine Medical Center team since 2003. Mandy started her career in healthcare as a CNA at both Forest Hill and NMMC where she quickly became a patient favorite. In 2021
Mandy began working at Forest Hill as a registered nurse and transitioned to the adult and child psychiatric units. In 2022 Mandy realized her passion for mental health, psychiatric nursing and her desire to make a positive impact in people's lives every day.
Mandy's commitment to excellence and mental health is sure to make a significant difference in the lives of the community she serves.
Beyond her clinical practice, Mandy's research interests include the impact of social media on mental health in adolescence and adulthood.
Coupled with her interest in the role technology plays in mental health treatment, like teletherapy and online applications, Mandy has a vast understanding of the findings of these therapies for mood disorders including specific personality disorders.
