We are pleased to welcome Dr. Donald Garrison, DO, as the newest addition to our medical team at Northern Maine Medical Center. Dr. Garrison joins us as a hospitalist and will also serve as Chief Hospitalist, bringing with him a wealth of experience in inpatient care and clinical leadership. Dr. Donald Garrison, DO, brings extensive experience as a hospitalist, with a strong background in supervising and training mid-level providers, particularly within skilled nursing facilities and inpatient care settings. Throughout his career, he has provided medical consultations for various service lines, ensuring seamless coordination across departments, and has frequently managed admissions on behalf of surgical teams. His work on medical-surgical units has included responsibility for both direct patient care and oversight of telehealth services, where he effectively supervised mid-level providers to maintain high standards of clinical quality. Dr. Garrison's comprehensive approach to inpatient medicine and his leadership in interdisciplinary collaboration make him a valuable asset to NMMC.
