Originally from Fort Kent, Maine, Maisie has been a dedicated member of the Northern Maine Medical Center team since 2009. In addition to her work in healthcare, Maisie has served as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Maine at Fort Kent since 2019, where she is passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of nurses. Deeply rooted in the Fort Kent community, Maisie is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care. Her approach to care is holistic and patient-centered, combining medication management and lifestyle strategies to support mental health and overall well-being. Maisie finds great fulfillment in serving her community.
Beyond her clinical practice, Maisie's research interests focus on fostering the psychological safety of nursing students during simulation learning activities and exploring strategies to promote inclusive healthcare environments that prioritize diversity and holistic well-being.
