Renee Deschaine was born and raised in Fort Kent, Maine.
After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Maine at Orono and spent five years living in the Bangor area. During her time in college and graduate school, she explored a wide range of roles within the social work field. Her professional journey began as a Psychiatric Technician at The Acadia Hospital and progressed to positions including Case Manager, Behavioral Health Professional, Multisystemic Therapy Clinician, and Outpatient Therapist. Most recently, she has been serving as one of the School Social Workers within the Madawaska School System.
