Dr. Cotton was born and raised in Long Island, New York, and after completing his education, he settled in Connecticut, where he raise his four children. Throughout his career, he developed a deep connection to Spanish culture and spent many years working closely with the Latino community, an experience that continues to shape his approach to care. Now calling Fort Kent, Maine his home, Dr. cotton has embraced the area's welcoming spirit, natural beauty and close-knit community.
Dr. Cotton's clinical interests center on a comprehensive, lifespan approach to neurodevelopmental and psychiatric care. He is particularly focused on the diagnosis and management of ADHD. His work also includes a strong commitment to the treatment of mood disorders, developmental disorders including Autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilities with an emphasis on early identification and long term support to optimize functioning and quality of life.
