Need care for an acute, non-emergent illness but can’t get in to see your primary care provider (PCP)?

What is Rapid Access and who can be seen?

NMMC Rapid Access is a clinic for any person (current patient or not) who needs to be seen for a single problem but can’t get a same-day appointment at their primary care clinic.  This service is not a replacement for emergency care. Call 911 or get to an emergency room if you think you have an emergency.

  • Bronchitis/Laryngitis
  • Cellulitis
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Constipation
  • Contusions
  • Cough
  • Ear infections/ear wax impaction
  • Fever
  • Herpes
  • Impetigo
  • Joint pain
  • Lacerations/cuts
  • Low back pain
  • Mastitis
  • Migraines
  • Mononucleosis
  • Muscle strains/sprains/spasms
  • Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
  • Puncture wounds

Services not offered: any service related to pregnancy or post acute pregnancy, opioid prescribing, abdominal pain, loss of consciousness, Myocardial Infarction (MI), symptoms of Stroke, acute bleeding, shortness of breath.

Rapid Access services are open to anyone with any primary care physician, and you don’t have to be an NMMC patient to be seen.
