Throughout his career, Dr. Encinas has provided comprehensive primary and urgent care to patients of all ages, with experience managing acute and chronic conditions, wellness and preventive care, women’s health, senior care, wound care, and home-based medicine. He has also served in numerous physician leadership and medical director roles, helping oversee multidisciplinary teams and coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

Clinical Interests
A dedicated educator, Dr. Encinas has served as a medical school faculty member and preceptor, training medical students and resident physicians. His commitment to education has been recognized with honors including Excellence in Teaching and Service to the University Community from Wayne State University School of Medicine and recognition as one of the Best Medical Student Preceptors at Henry Ford Health System. Dr Encinas’ professional interests include preventive health, chronic disease management, community-directed primary care, senior care, wound healing and prevention, substance abuse care, and improving access to comprehensive family medicine. He also has a strong interest in women’s health, minority health and reducing health disparities.
